Idun, Goddess of Spring

Weekend painting done! I started this one off in Clip Studio Paint and really enjoyed it! It was my first actual painting with intent in CSP. That program is a ton of fun and does a great job mimicking real paint and blending!

Ultimately I got to a point where I was really liking the painting but I just wanted to really polish it up in photoshop. So, I switched over and fixed a few issues, started having fun focusing on the details, and then polished it up.

Seeing as how it’s the first day of spring I’ll title this one “Idun, the ever-young.” Norse goddess of fertility, rejuvenation, and spring! (Protecting her apple orchard.)
